Madelyn and Cole's wedding was designed as an old-money Southern ballroom celebration, awash in ivory and touches of gold... champagne silk and satin draped throughout the room, from the tall lamps to the linens beneath them, lending opulence to every surface. Rather than towering florals, height was found in fabric and candlelight, with clusters of ivory blooms adding quiet romance without ever competing for attention.

The real design lived in their story. Madelyn and Cole met in middle school and remained close through the years that followed... that history became the celebration's throughline. Antique books that once belonged to her grandfather were hand-painted into table numbers, each one telling a different chapter of the couple's history, while a custom library shelving unit — filled with books, family photographs, and an elegant escort display — anchored the room in an old-world, well-loved feel. Save-the-dates read "Our next chapter begins," bookmarks doubled as place cards, and the floral artwork from their invitations carried through to the dance floor and signage, tying every detail together. Custom trucker hats and french fry containers, stamped with playful Masters-inspired stickers in a nod to their wedding weekend overlapping with the tournament, added one more personal touch.

The result was refined, personal, and entirely their own — down to the wedding party delivering individual cakes to each table instead of cutting a single towering one. It was a night so intentional and so much fun that guests had to be dragged off the dance floor, literally. Luckily, there was an after-party that went well into the morning hours.
